GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series, "POP UP PARADE," based on the popular anime Chainsaw Man, has once again announced its latest product, the "POP UP PARADE Power" PVC figure, following Denji" and "Chainsaw Man"! Priced at 4,800 JPY, it is scheduled for release in May 2023.
Tatsuki Fujimoto's dark shonen manga series, "Chainsaw Man," tells the story of Denji (translated by the publisher, phonetically 'Denji'), a boy who makes a living by slaying devils. After an unexpected rebirth, he gains the new power of "Chainsaw" and joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters to battle various devils. He partners with Power, a Blood Fiend who also belongs to the "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division 4" and possesses the ability to create various weapons from her own blood.
Power, at first glance, appears to be a beautiful girl with blonde hair and golden eyes, sporting prominent devil horns on her head. However, her personality is wild and uninhibited, referring to herself as "this great me." She claims to be a "super terrifying devil," but always plays dead or flees when facing strong opponents; she is short-tempered and prone to lying, and despite being flat-chested, she enjoys wearing breast pads to feign a larger bust.
The "POP UP PARADE Power" PVC figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Power's distinctive features, such as her red cross-circle eyes and prominent devil horns. She is dressed in a half-tucked Public Safety Devil Hunters uniform, paired with a loose blue hoodie, rolled-up pant legs, and sneakers, perfectly capturing Power's messy and unique style. Her lively smile, combined with a gesture that seems to say, "I'm thinking about the Nobel Prize," makes the entire figure brimming with Power's essence!
