BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., is launching the latest product in its "EVA-FRAME" series, which features articulated designs based on "Neon Genesis Evangelion": the "EVA-FRAME-EX: Neon Genesis Evangelion" box set! The suggested retail price is 748 JPY per box, with an anticipated release in May 2023.
The EVA-FRAME series continues the characteristics of the "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME" series, offering exquisite candy toys with articulated frames and separate armor (restraint armor) parts. They stand approximately 11-13 cm tall. Compared to Gundam frames, the EVA body frames, which are structurally similar to the human body, will have even more flexible articulation, with articulated joints in the chest, waist, and limbs, allowing for dynamic poses such as running and jumping.
This EX special edition, "EVA-FRAME-EX: Neon Genesis Evangelion" candy toy, themed after the 1997 "Neon Genesis Evangelion Theatrical Film," includes the TV anime versions of EVA Unit-01, EVA Unit-02, and the strikingly designed EVA Mass Production Model, along with two types of Weapon Set A and B, allowing fans to recreate the active battle scenes from the series!
