TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from the 'ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E.' series of robot-themed action figures, the "Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty Z.A.F.T. Weapon Set," scheduled for release in May 2023.
The "Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty Z.A.F.T. Weapon Set" will include live ammunition-type additional armaments that can be used with the separately sold "ROBOT SPIRITS GINN ver. A.N.I.M.E." and "ROBOT SPIRITS BuCUE ver. A.N.I.M.E." . The "Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty" is the official name for Z.A.F.T. (Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty). The product contents include the large missile "M66 'Canis' Short-Range Guided Missile Launcher," also known as D-equipment, which GINN was equipped with during the attack on Heliopolis in the series, as well as the "400mm 13-tube Missile Pod" mounted on BuCUE's back.
The "M66 'Canis' Short-Range Guided Missile Launcher" part includes four 'Canis' short-range guided missiles, each approximately 13 cm in length, and the launchers equipped on GINN's arms. By replacing parts, you can recreate the appearance of the tail fins deploying and the thrusters firing after launch.
For the "400mm 13-tube Missile Pod," all 13 missiles are individually segmented parts. The missile parts can be removed to recreate the appearance of the pod after all missiles have been fired, leaving no warheads. Additionally, three different lengths of missile launch effect parts are included, with the jet flames and smoke from the missile tails meticulously reproduced using clear parts. The pod's base features a movable mechanism, allowing the pod to rotate and turn in all directions (up, down, left, and right).
