The popular "Megami Device" series of mecha girl plastic model kits, released by Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, recently announced that the latest product designed by illustrator Nidy-2D-, "Shura Archer/Ninja 6 Years Later (Provisional Name)," is currently under development, with a release date yet to be determined.
The "Shura" series of Megami Device kits are designed by renowned Japanese illustrator Nidy-2D-. The initial Ninja and Archer models featured armor designed with red and white color schemes, combined with the distinctly Japanese-themed professions of ninja and archer, integrating traditional weapons such as bows, katanas, shurikens, and wakizashis with mechanical structures. The voluptuous and alluring body sculpt significantly boosted the series' sales upon its announcement, leading to the subsequent release of various derivative and enhanced versions with different colors and armaments.
The newly announced "Shura Archer/Ninja 6 Years Later (Provisional Name)" is set as an enhanced form bridging the Shura series and the Kousu Susanoo series. It retains characteristic features such as the original Shura series' hairstyle and armament style, while incorporating elements of Susanoo into the body suit design, adding head antennas and a high-cut silhouette. The emphasis on black sections creates a more refined and cool impression compared to the standard versions.
