Japanese toy company Good Smile Company's popular and best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) toy series will release "Weather Report" (ウェザー・R), one of the many companions who act alongside protagonist Jolyne Cujoh, from the sixth part of the popular manga "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," "Stone Ocean"! Scheduled for release in June 2023.
"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," created by Hirohiko Araki-sensei, began serialization with its first part in 1987 and has now reached its ninth part, creating numerous classics, with each part's story having its own dedicated fanbase. The sixth serialized story, "Stone Ocean," began serialization in 2000, featuring Jolyne Cujoh, the daughter of Part 3 protagonist Jotaro Kujo, as its main character, and is the only JoJo story with a female protagonist. It narrates Jolyne's journey starting from her wrongful imprisonment, through a series of events, meeting various companions, and gradually uncovering the true conspiracy of the enemy, "Father Pucci."
In the original Part 6, Weather Report appeared around the same time as Anasui. His Stand ability is "Weather Report," which allows him to control the weather. Initially, he was a person with no memories of his past, not even knowing his own name, so he was called Weather Report (everyone called him Weather). In reality, he is Father Pucci's twin brother, whose real name is Domenico Pucci (ドメニコ・プッチ). His Stand later evolved under his influence into "Heavy Weather," which can turn people into snails. In the decisive battle against Father Pucci, he was almost successful in defeating him, but ultimately failed due to an accident and was killed by the priest. Before his death, he used the priest's ability to transform his own Stand ability into a Disc. This action influenced the final outcome, allowing Emporio to eliminate the priest.
This Nendoroid Weather Report released by Good Smile Company faithfully recreates his blue suit and bodysuit appearance from the original work. Interchangeable face plates include a "standard face," a "combat face," and a "Heavy Weather face" from when he regained his memories. As for other accessories, it includes cloud effect parts for when his Stand is activated, and can also depict rainy or stormy conditions.
