Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced two new products from "Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones": "Mace Windu" and "Super Battle Droid". This article will provide product information for the 1/6th scale collectible figure of the Jedi Master wielding a purple lightsaber, "Mace Windu".
This 32 cm tall "Mace Windu" figure features 30 points of articulation, faithfully recreating his appearance from "Attack of the Clones" with a double-layered beige tunic, brown Jedi robe, white trousers, and leather-textured belt and boots. What's incredibly cool is that this release also includes white forearm armor and gloved interchangeable hands to recreate his look from the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars"! The head sculpt meticulously captures the serious expression of "Samuel L. Jackson" as the Jedi Master, with highly realistic skin texture. However, personally, I feel the facial contours might be a bit angle-dependent.
Accessories include a purple lightsaber with LED light-up function, a lightsaber blade in motion effect, a lightsaber hilt that can be attached to the belt, a mini holographic projection-like statue of Master Yoda, a holographic device, multiple interchangeable hands, and a display base. The upper right corner of the packaging box also features the 20th-anniversary commemorative LOGO for "Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones", which is absolutely fantastic.
