Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced two new figures from Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones: "Mace Windu" and "Super Battle Droid." This article will provide product information for one of the Separatists' advanced combat units deployed on the battlefield, the 1/6th scale collectible figure of the "Super Battle Droid."
This 1/6th scale "Super Battle Droid" figure stands at 32 cm tall and features 18 points of articulation. It meticulously recreates the character's curved body lines and slender limbs as seen in the film. The metallic silver paint application, which conveys a strong sense of weight, along with realistic hand-painted weathering effects, further enhances its authenticity. Details such as the LED light-up device on the left chest, the double-barreled laser cannon on the mechanical right arm, and the pincer-like hands are all faithfully reproduced. Additional accessories include a damaged and broken mechanical left arm and a sandy display base designed with the Battle of Geonosis as its theme.
