日本知名道具複製品玩具品牌 CoolProps 日前發表了以初代《超人力霸王》為主題的最新商品「超人力霸王 C-TYPE 戲服等比例胸像」預計於 2024 年 05 月發售的消息。此商品採限定生產制，僅在 2022/12/27 10:00～2023/4/9 期間於圓谷直營網路商店 TSUBURAYA STORE ONLINE 開放訂購。
The "Ultraman C-TYPE Suit Life-Size Bust" features the C-TYPE suit design, which was used in the later broadcast period of the original 《Ultraman》 series in 1967 and is considered the most classic and ideal representation. The project boasts a luxurious lineup of talent: sculptor Fuyuki Shinada from Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department provided full supervision, Yuji Nishimura, founder of the M1-Go brand (known for creating and selling numerous tokusatsu soft vinyl models), assisted with historical research, and the dummy head modeling studio, led by special effects makeup artist Kakusei Fujiwara (who has worked on special effects makeup for many productions), was responsible for producing the painted prototype.
After extensive research on C-TYPE data, the in-show appearance is meticulously recreated with an impressive presence, standing approximately 80 cm tall and weighing around 20 kg. Every detail is faithfully reproduced, including the handcrafted, asymmetrical left and right sides, the peeking holes beneath the eyes, the wrinkles formed when the shoulders are compressed, and the indentations around the Color Timer. The paint application also meticulously reproduces the textural differences between the red and silver of the suit, with subtle color variations even within the silver sections of the body. Even the brush strokes on the head are thoroughly researched and recreated. Furthermore, both eyes and the Color Timer feature internal lighting mechanisms; connecting the included AC adapter will illuminate them.
