Following Mutsumi Koashi, Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, known for its popular "Megami Device" plastic model kit series which combines diverse mechanical equipment with highly articulated bishoujo bodies, recently announced the latest product in collaboration with the popular mobile game "Alice Gear Aegis": "Mutsumi Koashi [GOUKI]," scheduled for release in July 2023.
Mutsumi Koashi (whose Japanese pronunciation is similar to the "Shoryuken" command "Koashi → 623"), a new Actress at Narukozaka Manufacturing, was originally a GAMER skilled in various games, particularly strong in fighting games, and a well-known figure who had participated in many tournaments. She later joined Narukozaka at the invitation of Hoshino Kazumi. Although she has no experience as an Actress, her personality is serious and hardworking, and she possesses reaction time and observational skills honed through gaming, coupled with excellent combat abilities, allowing her to contend with enemies.
This release of Mutsumi Koashi [GOUKI] is based on her Ace Suit specifications from the game. The kit is supervised by Kanetake Ebikawa, who designed the armaments, and utilizes completely new molds to recreate the articulated body wearing the Ace Suit, including three new interchangeable face parts. The armaments also follow the in-game settings, with the armor molded in a predominantly blue color, and the weapons changed to a black and white color scheme based on the Ace Suit's design.
Similar to the regular version, the upper body equipment can rotate in multiple directions via an articulated stand, while the lower body equipment can recreate the deployed state of the thrusters on both sides when skills are activated. In addition to the sniper rifle and a large hammer that recreates the metal hydraulic rod at its tip, new parts are used to create the large claw gauntlets, resembling a fierce tiger's paws, for both hands when unleashing the SP skill "BEAST INSTALL." Each of the four claws on the gauntlets features independent articulation, allowing for dynamic and cool martial arts poses!
