SEGA Games' new brand S-FIRE (エスファイア) recently officially announced and opened pre-orders for a new addition to its "Super Situation Figure" series from "My Hero Academia": the "Izuku Midoriya vs. Muscular" (緑谷出久vs.マスキュラー) pre-painted complete figure, with an estimated release in February 2024.
Standing approximately 30 cm tall, this piece is designed based on the intense battle between Izuku Midoriya and the villain "Muscular" during the "League of Villains" attack on the U.A. High training camp in "My Hero Academia" Season 3. It not only fully reproduces the unique characteristics of both characters' Quirks, but also powerfully recreates Muscular's terrifying appearance as his muscles burst through his skin when using his "Muscle Augmentation" Quirk. His confident, arrogant smile, prosthetic eye, and individual muscle fibers are all excellently rendered, and the muscles emerging from his body seem to attack Midoriya with a life of their own.
On Midoriya's side, he is depicted in a fierce fighting pose, shirtless, bleeding, and with a severely injured right arm. His gritted teeth and unwavering expression convey his absolute determination to protect "Kota." In addition to the main figures, abundant lightning effects and smoke parts are used around them to enhance the dynamism of the pose. The contrast in their physiques further communicates just how arduous this battle was, a battle Midoriya only won by unleashing One For All at 1,000,000%!
