Japan's Prime 1 Studio company, under its popular statue product line "Ultimate Premium Masterline", is scheduled to release a three-dimensional statue product of the boss character "TOWER KNIGHT" from the high-difficulty game 《Demon's Souls》 between May 2024 and August 2024!
Fans of Soulslike games are certainly no strangers to 《Demon's Souls》; it is the first title in the Soulslike genre, an action role-playing game developed by From Software and exclusive to SONY, released on the PS3 console in 2009. Its high-difficulty gameplay, while causing many players to complain at the time, unexpectedly garnered widespread praise. In 2020, a significantly enhanced remake with improved graphics and systems was specially released on the PS5 console.
The Tower Knight is a relatively early-game boss character. Covered in heavy armor, its physique is enormous, and it appears alongside numerous minions that perform long-range attacks. The Tower Knight itself attacks players by swinging its long spear, firing laser beams, or striking the ground with its massive shield to unleash shockwaves. Its weakness lies in its head; players must first weaken it by attacking its legs to make it fall, then target its head to inflict significant damage.
This three-dimensional statue of the Tower Knight released by Prime 1 Studio stands nearly 60 cm tall, faithfully recreating its appearance from the game. Its entire heavy armor, with every surface texture meticulously sculpted, and holding a long spear and a massive shield, it resembles a towering, formidable steel wall. The base it stands upon is designed in the shape of an ancient castle, perfectly capturing the game's atmosphere.
This product is available in both a Regular Edition and a DX Bonus Edition. Compared to the Regular Edition, the DX Bonus Edition includes several additional accessories: a knight representing the player's controllable character, which appears significantly smaller in contrast to the colossal Tower Knight, and when displayed together with the Tower Knight, it evokes memories of in-game battles. It also includes the familiar checkpoint, the "Archstone". The overall content is rich, making it a worthwhile reference and collection for fans of Hidetaka Miyazaki's Soulslike games.
