Following the release of "HANDSCALE Gourai with Jinrai Armor" from the popular mecha girl model kit series "Frame Arms Girl" by Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, today they announced the new play-style combination pack "Gourai-Kai with Exosuit Gourai," scheduled for release in July 2023.
This product includes the main body of the Frame Arms unit "Type 32 Model 1 Gourai" designed by Takayuki Yanase, the bishoujo-fied version of Gourai designed by illustrator Humikane Shimada, "Frame Arms Girl Gourai-Kai Ver.2," and Kotobukiya's newly developed model kit expansion part, the "Exosuit Unit." Both Gourai versions come with complete weapon accessories for independent play.
The "Exosuit Unit," which serves as the core of the entire kit, features a cockpit and control levers for connecting the Frame Arms Girl main body. It is equipped with numerous 3mm connection points and movable axes for attaching the limbs of the Frame Arms unit. By combining these three kits, you can achieve the new play style of 'Gourai-Kai with Exosuit Gourai,' and expand its armaments using the 3mm connection points and included connector parts. The official example demonstrates using multiple Frame Arms Gourai units to form a mobile tank-like configuration.
