BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, a popular alloy toy series, "METAL BUILD", has announced that a new product from the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ALTERNATIVE STRIKE" project will be revealed soon.
The METAL BUILD original MSV project "ALTERNATIVE STRIKE" is, in its setting, the "ALTERNATIVE PROJECT" MS development plan carried out by Valerius Valerii, technical director of Actaeon Industries and nicknamed "Double V". He significantly enhanced numerous mobile suits and equipment, incorporating his own ideas, which were originally developed with the participation of Lowe Guele, Gai Murakumo, and others. In essence, this project standardizes the backpack interfaces of the Strike Gundam and Gundam Astray series, allowing for free interchangeability of backpack equipment to create forms not seen in the original works.
The mobile suit teased by TAMASHII NATIONS this time is the "MBF-P01 Gundam Astray Gold Frame", faithfully reproducing its appearance with a damaged right arm due to insufficient maintenance, as depicted in the original setting. It will be equipped with the 350mm "Gae Bulg" Linear Rifle and a shield, among other armaments.
