The assembly model series 『MODEROID』, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, following Blade Thursday, recently announced its latest product from the anime "Gun x Sword," the "Eldora V," scheduled for release in October 2023.
The giant robot "Eldora V" appearing in the series is the strongest armor piloted decades ago by the five heroes known as the Eldora Team, who once saved the world. It is formed by the combination of five units: Graheeda, Bodikenda, Power Handa, Nesfada, and Pink Amigo. If even one unit is missing, it will lack sufficient energy and cannot unleash its true power. Although it made a brief appearance in the series, its performance was already outdated compared to modern armor, and the pilot of Pink Amigo had passed away due to old age, preventing it from forming its true configuration. Ultimately, with the assistance of protagonist Van, Pink Amigo was thrown into place to complete the combination, allowing Eldora V to unleash its ultimate move, "Eldora V Ultimate," to defeat the enemy. Eldora V was later modernized into "Eldora Soul," abandoning its separation and combination mechanism to significantly enhance its performance.
The "MODEROID Eldora V" utilizes the series' highest number of molded color parts (10 types), pre-painted parts, and color-correcting stickers to faithfully recreate its appearance from the show. Once assembled, the kit allows you to build the five individual units: Graheeda, Bodikenda, Power Handa, Nesfada, and Pink Amigo. Through its transformation and combination mechanism, these units can form the "Eldora V," standing approximately 20 cm tall. Furthermore, Pink Amigo can be removed and replaced with a dedicated head part to recreate the "Eldora IV" configuration, which features only four combined units as seen in the series.
Bodikenda's head and Pink Amigo's wings can be replaced with proportion-focused parts, making Eldora V's appearance even more refined and cool. The overall design of the movable joints is quite flexible, and Bodikenda's beak on the chest features an opening mechanism, allowing it to recreate a firing pose with the "Bombardier" missile parts. Eldora Punch's gauntlets and the glowing hand for the ultimate move "Eldora V Ultimate" can also be reproduced through interchangeable parts!
