BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced today the latest product from its robot-themed action figure line, "ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E.", "Gelgoog M Commander Type (Cima Garahau's Machine) ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~Lili Marleen Launch Specification~", from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory", slated for release in August 2023.
The MS-14Fs Gelgoog M Commander Type (Cima Garahau's Machine) is the primary mobile suit used by "Space Flea" Cima Garahau, who navigated between various factions for survival, before she acquired the Gerbera Tetra. Cima referred to it in German as "Marine Leiter (Marine Corps Specification Commander Type)". This unit features a unique purple coloring on its limbs. Compared to the standard Gelgoog M, it is equipped with additional thrusters and fuel tanks to extend its operational time in space, and it carries a dedicated large beam rifle.
The "Gelgoog M Commander Type (Cima Garahau's Machine) ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~Lili Marleen Launch Specification~" is a modified version of the standard release from 2021. The previously pinkish limb armor has been changed to purple, more closely matching its in-setting appearance, and new body markings have been added. The articulated joints are also flexibly designed, allowing for natural poses through the horizontal axis movement of the elbow joints and the embedded structure of the knee joints.
The most significant change in this version is the addition of the catapult deck scene from the mothership "Lili Marleen". It features rich detailed sculpting and a unique angled design, allowing it to be displayed with the Gelgoog main unit to recreate launch scenes. Other accessories remain the same as the standard version, including a large beam rifle, shield, a set of beam effect parts, beam saber hilt, and various interchangeable hands, enabling the recreation of classic battle scenes from the series.
