Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY is releasing a new product, the "Rei Ayanami ~Red Rouge~" 1/7 scale figure, based on the popular anime "Evangelion"! The suggested retail price is 17,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2024.
The "Rei Ayanami ~Red Rouge~" 1/7 scale figure is based on the design drawn by illustrator Yoneyama Mai for a lipstick advertisement, recreating Rei Ayanami's mature and elegant appearance from the advertisement, wearing Red Rouge lipstick. Standing approximately 25 cm tall, her fair skin makes the lipstick the focal point. Coupled with a gentle smile, she displays an aura different from her usual self. The realistic details of her outfit, such as the leather jacket, flowing hem, belt, and denim mini-skirt, are meticulously sculpted. Her pose, holding a small handbag with both hands, perfectly recreates the scene from the advertisement where she is waiting for a date!
