GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan is releasing the latest product in their popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different items: "Nendoroid Guts," based on the popular anime Berserk! The suggested retail price is 7,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2023.
Guts, the protagonist of Berserk, is known as the "Black Swordsman" due to his all-black armor and cape. His signature feature is also the massive greatsword, the "Dragon Slayer," which is longer than he is. Not only has he endured countless battles on the battlefield, leaving him covered in scars, but his extremely tragic childhood also left Guts with deep emotional wounds. Just when he finally found true friends and a home for the first time in the Band of the Hawk, he was betrayed by the "White Hawk," Griffith... Guts, who miraculously survived the absolutely tragic and terrifying Eclipse, was filled with black rage and embarked on a path of revenge.
The "Nendoroid Guts" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. Its chibi proportions faithfully recreate the Black Swordsman's intimidating appearance. The black cape is designed with simple articulation, and the armor features a heavy metallic paint finish. His signature "Dragon Slayer" greatsword and the "Prosthetic Arm" with its hidden cannon are, of course, included! Three face plates are included: a stoic "Serious Face," a fierce "Combat Face," and a crazed "Berserk Face." His iconic spiky hairstyle is particularly striking~
