Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure series, "FigZero," has announced its latest product from the movie "Shin Masked Rider," the "Masked Rider No. 1," slated for release in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Appearing in "Shin Masked Rider," Masked Rider No. 1 is the protagonist, Takeshi Hongo, who was bio-modified by Hiroshi Midorikawa, a researcher from the mysterious organization "SHOCKER." He is hailed as the ultimate masterpiece among insect-type synthetic augmented humans. By absorbing and amplifying atmospheric "Ki (life energy)" while riding at high speeds, he completes his transformation. He possesses superhuman physical abilities, capable of turning SHOCKER combatants into pulp with mere punches and kicks, and remains virtually unscathed even from close-range gunfire and explosion shockwaves.
The "FigZero Masked Rider No. 1" boasts an impressive size, standing nearly 30 cm tall, with over 32 points of articulation throughout its body, allowing for delicate and dynamic posing. The overall design faithfully reproduces the richly detailed new version. Not only are the highly detailed head and belt crafted from composite materials such as ABS, PVC, and POM, but the hair is also made with flocking. Furthermore, the scarf, trench coat, and full battle suit are meticulously sewn from various fabrics, completely covering the joint parts and significantly restoring the character's on-screen appearance.
Both the trench coat and scarf can be freely put on or taken off, and their shapes can be adjusted via embedded metal wires. Paired with 5 different interchangeable hand parts, you can recreate various action scenes, including the iconic "Rider Kick." Furthermore, the head not only features an articulation mechanism to adjust the jaw length but also has a built-in LED light-up mechanism to illuminate the eyes!
