The popular product series "Kobuta Shokudou" (こぶた食堂), released by designer toy brand Bid Toys, recently developed a new menu item. This time, a Western-style dish, the "ChiCe Burger", is being served! It is expected to start shipping in September 2023.
"Kobuta Shokudou" is a toy series that transforms the mid-section of pigs into various popular delicacies, showcasing a realistic culinary texture through high-level painting techniques. It also continuously updates its menu over time, capturing the hearts of toy collectors with a variety of non-pig dishes. This "ChiCe Burger" is made from resin, with dimensions of 10 × 9 × 15 cm. The way it combines a cheeseburger with a Chihuahua is very straightforward: simply take a burger bun and place it directly over the Chihuahua's head. Once the head passes through the bun, check the Chihuahua's mouth to confirm the tongue is sticking out (and askew), then it's ready to serve!
The Chihuahua's body features an exaggeratedly enlarged head and slightly bulging eyes. The wrinkles on its chin from its pouting mouth are also vividly depicted. The ingredients beneath the Chihuahua are standard: tomato slices, sliced pickles, cheese, and a burger patty. The shiny, greasy visual effect adds to the deliciousness of this ChiCe Burger. However, the editor personally believes that compared to previous dishes in the series, the guilt one might feel about not wanting to bite into it, usually caused by the animals' pleading eyes, has significantly decreased. This ChiCe Burger is quite satirical; its comical vibe will surely make people impatiently eager to take a bite.
