Hello everyone, today I'm going to unbox and share GSC's Hatsune Miku Land of the Eternal with you all.
This Hatsune Miku design comes from the "KYOTO NIPPON FESTIVAL 2019" event, which was set at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.
This event, which began in 2016, is a fusion of traditional Japanese characteristics and modern elements.
The theme for 2019 was "Animating National Treasures (国宝をアニメートする)", and Hatsune Miku was chosen as the spokesperson.
The artist responsible for the main visual is Rella, and there's no need to say more about this master's Hatsune Miku illustrations.
Many of their works are incredibly beautiful and have also been released as physical figures.
Hatsune Miku in the "present world" stands in her official outfit before the Sankomon Gate of Tenmangu Shrine, with lanterns softly illuminating her body and casting a reflection on the ground.
However, the reflection shows Hatsune Miku from the "eternal world," creating a dreamlike and ethereal beauty.
The figure being unboxed here is Hatsune Miku from the eternal world.

Photos below.
The overall outer box has no windows and no original artwork; it only features photos of the product itself.
Rather than being ornate, I feel the design conveys a sense of solemnity.

Contents:
Main body, twin-tails, base, umbrella

Body rotation views.
While the overall clothing and hair appear heavy, the sense of flow and movement is exceptionally well-rendered.

Details.
The face sculpt is flawless, and it looks good from various angles.

There are many hair ornaments with intricate details.
Considering the standard for mass-produced items, I believe this level of refinement is excellent.
Furthermore, these are intentionally close-up photos, so any minor imperfections from the manufacturing process might inevitably be magnified.

This multi-layered outfit, reminiscent of a miko or festival attire, is quite elaborate.
The color scheme is gorgeous, yet the colors are rather subdued, preventing it from appearing overly flashy.
The detailed textures and carvings are superb; I can't find any flaws.

The flowing treatment of the twin-tails is truly exceptional.

Even the back of the outfit and the floor-length hem, which are usually unseen, are meticulously detailed.

Fair, long legs~XD

The ripple effect on the base's water surface is well done.

A little bonus

That concludes the introduction to the contents.
The overall quality is good, and the sculpt is absolutely beautiful.
Among non-official outfit Hatsune Miku figures, I consider this a must-have.
It's not without its drawbacks, though they aren't apparent in the photos.
Specifically, this figure has an unusually strong plastic odor; placing it in a room quickly filled the entire space with a plastic smell.
As a result, after unboxing, I left it in the ventilated living room for several days until the smell subsided before placing it in my display cabinet...
