Figurama Collectors, under its "Elite Fandom" series, has announced a new product from the classic anime "Yu Yu Hakusho": the "Yusuke vs Toguro" 1/6 scale diorama statue! Limited to 500 pieces, the suggested retail price is $975 USD, with an estimated release in Q4 2024.
Younger Toguro, a popular antagonist from "Yu Yu Hakusho," is a B-class demon with muscle enhancement abilities. Originally Genkai's martial arts partner and lover, 50 years prior to the series, his dojo disciples were brutally slaughtered by the demon Kairen. Unable to avenge his students, Toguro, in guilt and regret, realized the powerlessness of the human body and the limitations of life, leading to a change in his personality. He later killed Kairen in the Dark Tournament to become champion, wishing to be reincarnated as a powerful demon that would not age, becoming an even more evil existence to eradicate evil.
The Figurama Collectors "Yusuke vs Toguro" 1/6 scale diorama statue recreates their intense battle scene from the Dark Tournament. It features a special design that allows Yusuke to display his iconic Spirit Gun firing pose from the anime, and can also be flipped to present a desperate, upside-down, back-against-the-wall pose. Yusuke comes with three interchangeable facial expressions: a confident smile, gritting teeth in struggle, and an angry shout. Younger Toguro has two facial expression parts: a serious expression with sunglasses and an evil smile after removing the sunglasses, allowing for various display combinations.
Toguro's exaggeratedly strong muscle lines and vivid muscle textures are meticulously sculpted; Yusuke's facial scars and clothing textures are also carefully reproduced. Additionally, the base recreates the Dark Tournament arena, featuring blue and green LED lighting effects to create a contrast between the two opposing forces. Numerous transparent effect parts clash, accompanied by shattered rocks and torn tickets, while an LED scoreboard at the bottom records Yusuke and Toguro's deadly struggle, conveying a powerful sense of presence!
