Among the heavyweight sets released by LEGO this year in the Harry Potter theme, the "76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition" is set to launch on September 4th. Recently, LEGO also unveiled a gift-with-purchase (GWP) item that can serve as an expansion for 76417: the 40598 "Gringotts Vault".
This set comprises a total of 212 pieces, and once assembled, measures approximately 13 cm high and 12 cm wide. The contents include a section of track, a mine cart, a vault scene, and a Goblin minifigure. The vault features a coin slot on top and an easily openable mechanism on its side wall, truly allowing children to use this Gringotts Vault as a piggy bank. Of course, its ability to combine with the massive "Gringotts Wizarding Bank" is also a highly appealing feature.
This small "Gringotts Vault" is expected to be available as a gift-with-purchase promotion from September 1st to September 13th, 2023. It can be obtained for free with purchases of Harry Potter sets totaling over US$130 on the LEGO official website and in official stores. Details regarding its release in Taiwan have not yet been announced.
