Just finished playing with "21342 The Insect Collection", and now the Danish LEGO toy company's Ideas series set number 21343, the "Viking Village", was officially unveiled last night (8/31), with an anticipated release date of October 1, 2023.
September 1, 2023 Update:

The original designer of this "Viking Village" is LEGO fan BrickHammer. In the past, his Viking Village received ten thousand votes of support on the LEGO IDEAS platform, but it just missed the final cut and didn't pass official review. However, in the "TARGET × LEGO IDEAS SET VOTE!" poll in 2022, which saw over 34,000 participants, BrickHammer's Viking Village was chosen with 16,317 votes, successfully becoming a creation that will be officially commercialized in the future. Now, this amazing scene is finally here!

This set contains a total of 2103 pieces. Once assembled, it stands approximately 24 cm tall and measures 46 cm in length. The overall structure can be broadly divided into three parts: the Chieftain's Longhouse, the Blacksmith's Shop, and the Watchtower. The Viking architecture, blending wood and rock textures, the repeatedly mended roofs, the drawbridge leading to the tower, the fish-drying rack, and the white vine pieces seemingly used to represent wisps of smoke are all very interesting. The roofs and walls of the buildings are also designed with easily detachable mechanisms, allowing toy enthusiasts to effortlessly enjoy interior details, including the blacksmith's forge and the chieftain's room fireplace. Elements such as rune stones, beautifully printed shields, and cool helmets are also quite captivating.

The minifigures include four characters: a Blacksmith, a Viking Chieftain, a Shield-Maiden, and an Archer. They can be combined with various weapon accessories from the set, such as hammers, longswords, and axes, to create numerous scenes.
