Fellow toy collectors, have you ever tried bending the seemingly rigid yet surprisingly flexible Wado Ichimonji? Following the announcement of the live-action One Piece's "Monkey D. Luffy," the world-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has also unveiled "Roronoa Zoro" as a 1/6 scale collectible figure.
This figure stands approximately 31.5 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. Based on the live-action One Piece series, it faithfully recreates the pirate hunter Zoro, portrayed by Mackenyu Arata. The head sculpt meticulously captures his iconic green hair and the teardrop-shaped golden earring on his left ear, showcasing a calm yet cool facial expression. Posable eyes further enhance its expressiveness. Zoro's signature Three-Sword Style combat can also be recreated using an alternate head sculpt featuring a black bandana and the Wado Ichimonji sword clenched in his mouth.
The costume and arm musculature are well-executed, though a seamless body design for the arms would have provided an even more realistic visual effect. Accessories include three swords, multiple interchangeable hands, and a display base themed after the live-action One Piece. Now, let's look forward to Nami's appearance!
