The rich diversity of crustaceans not only deeply fascinates Jubi but also serves as one of his wellsprings of creative inspiration. To express his love and respect for these shelled creatures, after more than two years of preparation and meticulous design, the new work "Snip Snip カニ怪獣" has finally been unveiled!
Jubi's unique cute monster style is infused into the three distinct crabs: "Brown Crab / Blue Crab / Vampire Crab." Made from soft vinyl, these figures feature a Q-version proportion and a delicate size of under 10 cm, faithfully reproducing the characteristics of these amazing creatures—including vibrant colors, crab claws, and the protrusions on their carapaces. Their facial expressions and short little legs are incredibly adorable—a must-have for any collection!
●About Snip Snip カニ怪獣
Brown Crab
The Brown Crab is also known as the Edible Crab. Although it's said to resemble bread, I think its folded edges look more like dumplings.
Blue Crab
A member of the Portunidae family, the most common ones in Taiwan are probably the Three-spot Swimming Crab and the Flower Crab. If I get the chance, I definitely want to cook them once. Sorry, at this moment, all I can picture is them lying on a plate... (wipes drool)
Vampire Crab
The Vampire Crab is also known as the Devil Crab and is a common ornamental crab species that I've always wanted to keep. However, until I research how to set up their environment and the correct way to care for them, I can only admire my own creations for now.
