Kitan Club "Plump Lucky Dogu and Haniwa" Capsule Toys: The Rare Armored Male Haniwa "Keiko Bujin" Also Gets a Cute 3D Release! (ふっくら福福土偶と埴輪)

Japanese capsule toy manufacturer Kitan Club (キタンクラブ) will be releasing its latest product this September in its popular "Plump Lucky" (ふっくら福福) series: the "Plump Lucky Dogu and Haniwa" (ふっくら福福土偶と埴輪) capsule toy! There are six styles to collect.

Kitan Club's "Fukkura Fukufuku" series features plump, roly-poly designs that can sway from side to side, much like a Daruma doll. After releasing a rich variety of birds, short-headed frogs, Inuhariko, and lucky tanuki... this time, the protagonists are Dogu, representative relics of Japan's Jomon period, and Haniwa, unique unglazed pottery from Japan's Kofun period. With a size of approximately 3.5 cm, their outlines and delicate surface textures are meticulously sculpted and reinterpreted with the series' signature plump lines, making them perfect desk companions for casual play!

This "Plump Lucky Dogu and Haniwa" collection includes three designs: the classic Haniwa "Dancing Person," the armored male Haniwa "Keiko Bujin," and the "Shakoki Dogu," a representative masked Dogu from the late Jomon period. Each design comes in two color variations, finished with a weathered, aged paint application. From the official images, the separate head and body parts suggest a rotating feature for the toy. The Keiko Bujin is also a relatively rare Haniwa toy, making this a truly worthwhile gashapon to try!
