Following the "Cyclone" from the movie "Shin Kamen Rider," TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product in the popular S.H.Figuarts action figure series: "S.H.Figuarts Shin Cyclone (Shin Kamen Rider)." It will have a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in May 2024.
The 50th Anniversary Kamen Rider commemorative work, "Shin Kamen Rider," is a new interpretation directed by Hideaki Anno, based on the original 1971 "Kamen Rider." It is the fourth film in the "Shin Japan Heroes Universe" series. Featuring talented new-generation actors Sosuke Ikematsu as the new Takeshi Hongo and Tasuku Emoto as Hayato Ichimonji, the film brings audiences back to the classic battle of Kamen Rider No. 1 and No. 2 against the evil organization Shocker, infused with nostalgic elements and a modern style.
The "S.H.Figuarts Shin Cyclone (Shin Kamen Rider)" faithfully recreates the Shin Cyclone ridden by Hayato, who, after surviving the decisive battle with "Kamen Rider No. 0," resolves to become the "true Kamen Rider" and transforms into Kamen Rider No. 2+1! Based on the film's design specifications, it accurately reproduces the high-performance Shin Cyclone, which has evolved and been enhanced from the original Cyclone. The body features a unique metallic red paint finish, giving it a distinct texture. The clear parts used for the windshield display different colors depending on the viewing angle, creating an appearance just like in the film. Additionally, it includes a "Kamen Rider No. 2+1 Handheld Mask" that can be displayed with the "S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider No. 2+1 / Hayato Ichimonji" (sold separately) to recreate iconic scenes from the movie!
