From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS' popular die-cast toy "Chogokin" series, comes the latest product based on "SAND LAND": the "Chogokin SAND LAND King's Army Tank 104". It will have a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2024!
"SAND LAND," created by popular Japanese manga artist Akira Toriyama, tells the story of a desert land where water and food are scarce, and both demons and humans face a chronic water shortage crisis. Thus, the demon prince Beelzebub and the genius soldier Shiba team up and embark on a journey to find the legendary spring.
The "Chogokin SAND LAND King's Army Tank 104" recreates the King's Army Tank 104, which plays a crucial role for the three characters during their adventure, using die-cast metal. Various parts of the vehicle body utilize die-cast components, giving it a substantial feel. The exterior armor is painted to convey the realistic texture of a tank, while tampo printing is used to depict textures and patterns, creating the appearance of having endured battles in the desert. Furthermore, each hatch can be opened, allowing enjoyment of the interior details! It also includes three mini-figures with articulated joints, which can be combined to recreate various scenes.
