MAX FACTORY, a popular Japanese toy company, is releasing the latest product in its renowned "figma" action figure series, "figma Takina Inoue," based on the anime "Lycoris Recoil"! The suggested retail price is 9,800 JPY, with an anticipated release in June 2024.
The Japanese original TV anime "Lycoris Recoil (リコリス・リコイル)," produced by A-1 Pictures, is set ten years after the "Radio Tower Incident," a terrorist attack on the Tokyo Radio Tower. Japan's public safety has long been ranked first in the world, but behind this facade, a secret organization called "DA" (Direct Attack) covertly employs a group of young female agents known as "Lycoris" to maintain superficial peace. These highly trained girls blend into the city in student uniforms, responsible for handling and concealing crimes.
The calm and efficient killing machine, Takina Inoue, was initially a Lycoris agent who would mercilessly shoot down enemies and disregard the safety of teammates and hostages. Due to a mission error, she was assigned to work with Chisato at the Japanese-style café LycoReco. At first, she was solely focused on returning to DA, but her attitude and thoughts gradually began to change after spending time with Chisato.
The "figma Takina Inoue" stands approximately 15 cm tall. Her sleek black long hair and meticulously detailed blue-grey uniform perfectly recreate Takina's cool and beautiful girl image! She comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "standard face" with no expression, a "smiling face" with a subtle grin, and the incredibly adorable and memorable "fish-face" from the series. Paired with accessories such as her "gun," "Lycoris school bag," "fish-hands," "action effect skirt," and multiple interchangeable hand parts, you can enjoy recreating various dynamic poses!
