"Dino Gangster," created by Taiwanese designer Spawnmax (米腸駿) and produced by the toy design team Infinity Toy, is celebrating the "fifth anniversary" of its IP's birth with a major breakthrough in style and size, launching the "Triceratops Chairman 200%."

This year marks the 20th Taipei Toy Festival (TTF) and the fifth year Dino Gangster has participated in this grand toy event. Since its debut at TTF in 2018, the series has consistently featured an 80s American cartoon style with a touch of Japanese manga details. This time, it breaks from its previous size, expanding to 40 cm, and also departs from its original Western gangster style to introduce a new branch: the Japanese Yakuza (ヤクザ) gangster theme.

This Triceratops Chairman's face still uses the classic gangster character – the Triceratops Boss – as its prototype. However, the body's patterns are designed based on the actual scales and armor of a real triceratops, appearing in an almost nude form. The semi-relief dragon head tattoo on its back not only aligns with the image of Japanese Yakuza but also symbolizes the Chairman's status as the "Dragon Head Boss," the "Dragon among Dragons," and resonates with the upcoming Year of the Dragon.

Spawnmax, who is always meticulous with accessories, personally tied a Japanese fundoshi (六尺覈) loincloth onto the Chairman this time, along with geta (wooden clogs) in a matching color, and a scabbard tied to the fundoshi. The short sword inside the scabbard can also be wielded by the Chairman, bringing both playability and display quality to the maximum. The packaging is no longer a header card with a PP bag or cardboard box, but a wooden box printed with calligraphy, perfectly recreating the soul of Japanese Yakuza both inside and out. Toy enthusiasts, don't miss out!
