The alloy model series 『AMAKUNI KISHIN』, a collaboration between Japan's HobbyJapan company's model brand AMAKUNI and Sentinel, today announced the latest product from 《The King of Braves Gaogaigar》, the 「Genesic Gaogaigar Display Head」, slated for release in September to October 2024.
Genesic Gaogaigar is the 「Strongest God of Destruction」 created by Green Planet, the home of Mamoru and the mechanical lion Galeon. It is formed by the combination of Genesic Gaigar and five Genesic Machines, representing Gaogaigar's true original form. It was originally created by Green Planet leader Cain to combat the artificial warriors 「Sol 11 Planetary Masters」 made by Red Planet. However, the control center of the Zonder Metal on Purple Planet suddenly went berserk, triggering the 「Machine World Assimilation」 crisis where the planet was eroded by Zonder. The Green Planet leader then ordered the Genesic Machines to be modified into units specifically for combating Zonder. However, the erosion speed was unexpected, and there was only enough time to complete the modification of Galeon. The remaining Genesic Machines were sealed within G-Crystals, and Mamoru and Galeon were urgently sent to Earth to escape.
The 「Genesic Gaogaigar Display Head」 is presented in a powerful size with a total height of approximately 27 cm. The design, assisted by mechanical designer Toshihisa Miyauchi, boasts rich detailed sculpting and sharp lines, thoroughly showcasing Genesic Gaogaigar's fierce and cool image. It is finished with various metallic paint applications to deliver a weighty texture. The upper and lower parts of the face mask are independent magnetic components, allowing for easy removal and replacement to recreate the equipping sequence during combination.
The head display features LED light-up devices embedded in four locations, including the eyes and forehead. It also includes a speaker capable of playing various sound effects. Not only does it include 8 in-show songs such as 『The King of Braves is Born! ~Mythology Ver.~』, but it also features over 60 newly recorded lines by Mr. Nobuyuki Hiyama, the voice actor for the protagonist Gai Shishioh, including 「dream lines」 not heard in the anime. The light and sound effects can be activated in conjunction using a dedicated remote control!
