Japanese model manufacturer Sentinel's popular alloy action figure series "RIOBOT" recently announced the confirmed commercialization of its latest entry, "VERDANT," from the manga "Linebarrels of Iron," with a release date yet to be determined.
VERDANT is a close-combat type MACHINA piloted by Reiji Moritsugu, the head of JUDA's Special Operations Office, and boasts the highest combat capability among all JUDA-affiliated MACHINA. Aside from its striking blue armor, its most distinctive feature is the multi-functional unit on its back, which normally carries a total of 12 variable stabilizers. This unit also functions as a shield and stores a total of 16 katanas, allowing for multi-katana attacks with a single hand during combat. These stabilizers can also be reconfigured into a large electromagnetic cannon for mid-to-long-range engagements.
Currently, the "RIOBOT VERDANT" is still in the digital model supervision stage, and detailed product information has not yet been revealed. It may be some time before the official product announcement.
