From the Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure series, "FigZero", today announced the latest product from the movie "Shin Kamen Rider", "Kamen Rider No. 2+1", scheduled for release in Q3 2024.
After a fierce decisive battle with the final enemy, Ichiro Midorikawa / Kamen Rider No. 0, Takeshi Hongo, who transforms into Kamen Rider No. 1, achieved victory at the cost of his own life. Although he lost his physical body, Takeshi Hongo's soul still resided in the helmet he used. Hayato Ichimonji, "Kamen Rider No. 2," having lost his comrades, resolved to inherit Hongo's will. He improved Hongo's helmet and Cyclone, and together with Hongo's soul, transformed into the new hero "Kamen Rider No. 2+1," continuing to travel to various locations to eliminate the remaining members of the SHOCKER organization.
"FigZero Kamen Rider No. 2+1" is produced with an articulated specification, standing approximately 32 cm tall, featuring over 32 points of articulation throughout the body. It meticulously recreates the in-show appearance using composite materials such as ABS, PVC, and POM. Notably, the black parts of the battle suit and the Rider's iconic red scarf are made of fabric, further enhancing the in-show texture. Additionally, the head incorporates a built-in LED light-up mechanism, allowing the eyes to glow when batteries are inserted.
In addition to four pairs of interchangeable hand parts with different poses, the foot parts also offer a choice between "articulation-focused parts" with movable segmentation and "appearance-focused parts" with a seamless, integrated look. Furthermore, the accessories include two retro telephones in different colors, which can be combined with the separately sold Kamen Rider No. 1 to recreate the phone call scene from the movie's promotional video.
