Bandai Spirits' affordable Ultraman-themed action figure series "Ultra Action Figure (ウルトラアクションフィギュア)" will release a new product from "Ultraman Arc" on July 27, 2024: the "Ultraman Arc Solis & Luna Armor Set" (ウルトラマンアーク ソリス&ルーナアーマーセット)! The suggested retail price is 4,950 JPY (tax included).
The sixth installment in the Reiwa era Ultraman series, "Ultraman Arc," features Yuma Hishiki as its protagonist. Yuma, who experienced a kaiju disaster in his childhood, still harbors dreams and aspires to become a kaiju biologist. After being selected as a new investigator for the Kaiju Disaster Prevention Science Investigation Institute (SKIP), he suddenly encounters a massive kaiju attack. When a strong desire to "protect the people before me" surges within Yuma, he connects with "Lution (ルティオン)," a messenger of light from a distant galaxy, transforming into the giant of light who protects humanity's future: Ultraman Arc. Coincidentally, Ultraman Arc looks exactly like the strongest hero Yuma sketched as a child.
Born from Yuma Hishiki unleashing his imagination and merging with the messenger of light "Lution," Ultraman Arc not only possesses the special move "Arc Final Rise" but can also equip armor by changing "ARC Blocks" when his color timer flashes red due to energy depletion. This includes the "Solis Armor," which unleashes the power of the Solis Armor Block and excels in close-quarters combat, and the "Luna Armor," which unleashes the power of the Luna Armor Block and specializes in agility.
This set not only includes an Ultraman Arc main body with 18 points of articulation but also allows for recreating both Solis Armor and Luna Armor forms by equipping parts! Furthermore, it comes with the "Arc Eye Sword (アークアイソード)," which is not included with the Ultra Hero Series soft vinyl toys! The playability is quite rich.
