Following the recent premiere of "Ultraman Arc," the sixth installment in the Reiwa era "Ultraman Series," TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of BANDAI SPIRITS Japan, has officially announced three new products from the series. This article will introduce the "Solis Armor" (ソリスアーマー), scheduled for release in October 2024! The suggested retail price is 3,800 JPY.

Since K-DAY (Monster Day) 16 years ago, when monsters simultaneously appeared across the globe, monster disasters have become a part of daily life. In Japan, in addition to the "Earth Defense Force" which subdues monsters with military might, there is also "SKIP," the Scientific Investigation Agency for Kaiju Prevention, dedicated to preventing and mitigating monster disasters. The protagonist of this series, Yuma Hishiki, is a new SKIP member with extensive knowledge of monsters. While SKIP was investigating the cosmic parasitic organism "Utsu" from a monster's horn, they were suddenly attacked by a monster. In the nick of time, Yuma connected with Rutiyon (ルティオン), a messenger of light from a distant galaxy, transforming into a mysterious giant who protects people!

Ultraman Arc, born from Yuma Hishiki unleashing his imagination and merging with Rutiyon, not only possesses the special move "Arc Final Rise" but can also equip armor by changing "ARC Cubes" when his color timer flashes red due to energy depletion. This includes the "Solis Armor," which releases the power of the Sun Armor Cube and excels in close-quarters combat, and the "Luna Armor," which releases the power of the Moon Armor Cube and specializes in agility.

The "S.H.Figuarts Solis Armor" product content does not include the Ultraman Arc main body; it is an armor set designed to be attached to Ultraman Arc. Created in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, the Solis Armor boasts a powerful design that resembles blazing flames! The armor's surface, primarily in orange and yellow, exhibits a heavy metallic feel. Once fully equipped, Ultraman Arc becomes even more robust. The highly prominent Solis Core (tentative translation) in the center of the chest is made with clear parts to reproduce its beautiful internal luster. Accessory contents also include interchangeable hands and a Solis Armor Cube that can be equipped on the Arc Eye Sword.
