Bandai Co., Ltd. of Japan recently announced the latest product from its Ultraman-themed prop replica series "ULTRA REPLICA (ウルトラレプリカ)", the "Eye Slugger" (アイスラッガー) from "Ultraseven"! Pre-orders are now open at PB and M78 stores, with shipping scheduled to begin in February 2025. The suggested retail price is 11,000 JPY (tax included).
The Eye Slugger, the cosmic boomerang equipped on Ultraseven's head, has a total length of 7.77 meters in the "Ultraseven" setting (when Ultraseven is 40 meters tall). It can not only be thrown at monsters but also wielded as a cutting weapon. In real life, Ultraseven's cosmic boomerang has surprisingly become an item that combines eye-catching design with ingenious utility, being produced by various brands as letter openers, back scratchers, backpack card holders, and more – it's incredibly fun.
Now, this cosmic boomerang, which has been tempered through countless battles, will be brought to life as a high-end collectible in the ULTRA REPLICA series. With an impressive length of 40 cm, its appearance has been redesigned to significantly reduce part divisions, maximizing the restoration of the Eye Slugger's aesthetic beauty.
