Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the Collectors Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the "S.H.MonsterArts" series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, today teased its latest release from the popular hunting game "Monster Hunter". The full product details are expected to be revealed soon.
While the official product name has not yet been revealed, the teaser image shows a primate-like hand giving a thumbs-up. The hint is quite clear, and it's highly likely that this new product is "Rajang".
The Fanged Beast monster "Rajang" is a highly dangerous creature with extreme aggression and territoriality. Any creature that enters its line of sight will be killed without hesitation, and very few have survived to provide eyewitness accounts. It is believed to possess combat capabilities on par with Elder Dragons. The name Rajang comes from its hair on its head and back suddenly turning golden and standing on end when it enters an enraged state. Its arm muscles also significantly harden, entering a "Furious Rajang" state, and it can unleash a golden energy beam called "Ki Blast" from its mouth.
