Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON division, which issues the highly popular "ULTIMATE LUMINOUS" series, announced today (the 6th) the latest product from the Ultraman Series: "Ultraman Blazar" (ウルトラマンブレーザー)! Pre-orders are currently open on PREMIUM BANDAI, with an estimated release in February 2025, priced at 4,950 JPY (tax included).
As part of the "Ultraman Blazar" series with a completely independent worldview, the featured Ultraman hero "Blazar" is a mysterious giant from the M421 central celestial body, a "Blazar". Unlike the Ultramen from the Land of Light in Nebula M78, Blazar is completely unfamiliar with Earth's culture and language. Throughout the series, he communicates with his human host, "Gento Hiruma", almost entirely through unique roars and by making the Blazar Stone glow hot, a significant departure from previous Ultraman works. Blazar performs a prayer-like gesture before battles and engages in wild combat with monsters, with his signature move being the Spiral Burrade.
The "ULTIMATE LUMINOUS Ultraman Blazar" stands approximately 10.5 cm tall, capturing his signature low-stance combat pose. It meticulously sculpts Blazar's complex asymmetrical red and blue patterns, the blue flames around his eyes, and the color timer on his chest. The wrinkles in his suit, created by his dynamic pose, are also realistically rendered, giving the overall figure a strong modern feel! Lighting up his eyes and color timer further enhances the sense of realism.
This product also allows for the recreation of the enhanced form "Fardran Armor", which appeared later in the story, using interchangeable right arm and chest parts. Both the color scheme and the design become significantly richer. The sharp edges of the Fardran fiery armor and the transformation applied to the chest undoubtedly further enhance Blazar's wild aggressiveness – super cool!!
