Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its "LOOK UP" series, which features numerous anime and manga characters in a cute, upward-gazing chibi style, is following up on the previous "Frieren" release with two new products based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End"—the "Fern" and "Stark" chibi character figures. Each is priced at 4,620 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2025!
In "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," Fern and Stark, disciples of Frieren's former teammates, the priest Heiter and the warrior Eisen, embark on a journey with Frieren to find the souls of her comrades, fulfilling their masters' requests. The romantic tension between Fern and Stark is one of the most highly anticipated topics among other characters and viewers alike. Their mutual affection, coupled with their reluctance to take the next step, creates a tantalizing dynamic that even prompted the priest Sein to exclaim the classic line, "Just start dating already!"
This time, Fern and Stark follow in Frieren's footsteps and join the LOOK UP series. Both figures stand approximately 11 cm tall, sculpted in an adorable 2.5-head-tall chibi proportion. Their designs from the series are faithfully recreated, including the hair ornament Frieren gave to Fern. Their heads feature simple articulation, allowing for slight adjustments to their gaze. Displaying them side-by-side is truly adorable!
