Japanese toy company RE-MENT (株式会社リーメント), skilled at creating exquisite accessories and miniature models, recently announced several new products. Among them, the Pokémon series not only features the exquisite pocket statue "POCKET STATUE -Dragon-type Pokémon-", but also introduces a new entry in the highly popular "Terrarium Collection (テラリウムコレクション)" series: the "Relaxing Moments" (tentative translation, のんびりなひととき) box set! It is scheduled for release on November 25, 2024, with a suggested retail price of 1,200 JPY per box.
This highly popular collection series, which carves out its own niche with Pokémon-themed terrariums in Poké Ball shapes, is now inviting you to relax with the Pokémon! It not only captures their leisurely, relaxed poses but also leverages RE-MENT's consistent strength in creating detailed Pokémon habitats within miniature sizes, presenting a "one ball, one world" visual effect that is both beautiful and full of charm! It further sparks our imagination about what lies within a Poké Ball.
The "Terrarium Collection: Relaxing Moments" features a total of 6 designs and 9 Pokémon, including "Psyduck" stuck in a tree hollow, "Quagsire & Clodsire" resting by the water, "Trapinch" emerging from the desert, "Slowpoke" enjoying the waves on the beach, two "Goomy" in a garden as if camouflaged, and "Munchlax & Trubbish" seemingly contemplating life. Are they simply spacing out or truly deep in thought? Super cute! The editor personally loves the Quagsire and Clodsire combo; their round, plump figures look incredibly soothing. And the desert environment around Trapinch is also full of sincerity. It looks like the conclusion is, once again, that the entire set is a must-have!
