GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan has announced the latest product from the "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand popular items, "Nendoroid Kagura" from Gintama. The suggested retail price is 6,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2024.
As the nominal heroine, Kagura is a member of the Yato Tribe, the strongest combat race in the universe. While she appears to be a cute young girl, her personality is completely unrefined, like an old man, even going so far as to pick each other's noses with Gintoki. She possesses superhuman strength and regenerative abilities, capable of recovering even from fatal injuries. The trade-off is an astonishingly voracious appetite, with almost all of Yorozuya's earnings going towards her food expenses. She absolutely loves su konbu (vinegared kelp) and has the verbal tic "aru" at the end of her sentences.
The "Nendoroid Kagura" stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating her signature Chinese-style outfit and cute bun hairstyle. Her face plates include a charming "smiling face," a "scheming face," and an "eating face." Accessories include an "umbrella" that can be used as a weapon, her beloved "su konbu," and an "extra-large bowl of rice" to showcase her obsession with rice. Additionally, her companions Gintoki and Shinpachi are also making their debut simultaneously!
