Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY recently announced its latest product from the sci-fi comedy classic "Back to the Future": the "Time Machine" (タイムマシン) 1/10 scale model! This item is a TAKARA TOMY MALL (タカラトミーモール) exclusive product in Japan, scheduled to ship in December 2024, with a suggested retail price of 76,780 JPY (tax included).
This DeLorean DMC-12 Time Machine, with an impressive length of 43 cm and a strong presence, is produced based on the settings from the first "Back to the Future" movie. It meticulously recreates the retro, stylish body lines, as well as the extensive modifications made by the genius scientist Dr. Brown to the vehicle. Furthermore, multiple lighting mechanisms are integrated into various parts, greatly enhancing the realism and appeal of this vehicle when illuminated. Coupled with the alloy-built body and the functional gull-wing doors that can actually open, it's truly captivating.
In addition to the exquisite exterior detailing, the interior, including the complex wiring and the precise machinery used for time travel, is also meticulously crafted.
