Danish LEGO toy company's latest gift-with-purchase, "40691 Mythical Pegasus" (tentative translation), which was recently leaked online, has finally been officially announced! While the exact release date and the spending threshold for this gift-with-purchase are not yet known, it is expected to be available after August 16, 2024, once the current "40688 Trophy" promotion concludes.
This "40691 Mythical Pegasus," part of the Creator 3-in-1 series, consists of 278 pieces and was designed by George Gilliatt. Its design is reminiscent of the 2023 "31140 Magical Unicorn," and George has indeed stated that this Pegasus is the Magical Unicorn's long-lost sister~
The Pegasus primarily features a white, blue, and purple color scheme. Various curved and sloped pieces are used to create its smooth mane. The hooves are built similarly to the Magical Unicorn, but utilize slightly larger 2x2 elements. The wings are adorned with translucent blue pieces, and combined with the charming ancient Greek-style pillar base, the overall visual effect is quite impressive.
