Unboxing: Max Factory - RACING MIKU 2022 Tropical Ver.

Hello everyone, today I'll be unboxing and sharing with you Max Factory's RACING MIKU 2022 Tropical Ver.

Tropical, as in 'tropical'.
Almost every year, Racing Miku features a summer-themed design, allowing us to experience a charm different from her original look.
Her well-proportioned physique paired with a tanned complexion showcases a wonderfully sunny and healthy aesthetic.

The illustrator for Racing Miku 2022 is neco, the artist known for depicting beautiful girls equipped with various sci-fi armaments.
One of this artist's series, 'Heavily Armed High School Girls', is also one of the few figma figures I've collected.

Here are the photos below

To be honest, I was a bit surprised when I first saw the outer box, because it strongly resembles a prize figure box.
This is mainly due to its slender and elongated design, which is similar to most prize figure boxes.
However, the figure itself doesn't have this issue~XD

Seeing the contents, it's understandable why the box is shaped this way.
Without the voluminous twin-tails, the overall bulk is significantly reduced.

The costume design, without being overtly erotic, maximizes the exposure of her physique.

Details
I personally feel that the face has a limited viewing angle; it looks best from the front, while the other two sides appear a bit odd.
The sunglasses-like accessory would be better if its transparency were higher, and the paint application on the shoulder accessories is a bit rough.
I also feel that the bangs lack a certain crispness, though the headphones are surprisingly good.
It feels a bit unworthy of the Max Factory brand name.

The refreshing twin-tails have a great sense of flowing dynamism.

The transparent sections of the top and the vent-like design on the back add significant visual richness to the rather minimal top.
The physique sculpting is excellent.

As in previous years, the summer design for the lower body, apart from the logo tan lines on her legs, features no excessive embellishments.

The parasol design is quite unique, and indeed carries neco's signature sci-fi flair.

The base has a sculpted design, which is commendable~

That concludes the introduction to the contents.
Overall, it's quite small and doesn't have much bulk, which in turn saves a good amount of display space.
Regarding the quality itself, I believe some details could be improved, but the overall aesthetic appeal is sufficient.
I personally don't consider it a must-have, unless you're like me and don't want to miss out on any Racing Miku PVC figure, then you might consider it.
