Japan's Bushiroad Creative company recently launched a new product based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" – the "Many Bocchi-chans" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled to be released in August 2024!
"Bocchi the Rock!" protagonist Hitori Gotoh, affectionately known as "Bocchi-chan," yearns to form a band and play guitar with others but is profoundly reclusive. Her gloomy and severely socially anxious personality has led Bocchi-chan to display various breakdown expressions throughout the series that can only be described as artistic, making them one of the biggest highlights of the work!
This "Many Bocchi-chans Character Figure" gashapon series transforms five of Bocchi-chan's iconic breakdown or awkward poses from the show into character figures. These include her appearance dancing at home with glasses in episode four, the "Shimokitazawa Tsuchinoko" that emerged during the group photo shoot, and the "Approval-Seeking Monster," among other representative designs. This allows fans to proudly collect Bocchi-chan's various absurd forms!
