Danish toy company LEGO yesterday (21st) unveiled the previously announced and highly anticipated Mario Kart-themed new products at Gamescom 2024, Europe's largest video game exhibition held in Cologne, Germany! This article will cover information on six new products, numbered 72031–72036, scheduled for release on January 1, 2025.

According to the information currently released by LEGO, these Mario Kart series sets not only allow you to personally build various classic vehicles and characters from the game, but their biggest selling point is undoubtedly their ability to link with the adventure starters from the [[OBJ_3641]] product line: Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach! Simply place an adventure starter into the driver's seat, and it will emit classic Mario Kart video game sounds, including race start, horn, classic drift sounds, and more. The small screen on the adventure starter should also display corresponding visuals, and with brick-built race cars, pit stops, and finish lines, it's truly exciting!

This time, the vehicles include Yoshi's Motorcycle, the classic Standard Kart, Koopa Clown Car, Biddybuggy, and more. From the official images, you can also spot those beloved yet frustrating in-game items! Such as banana peels, red Koopa shells, and green Koopa shells. The newly designed Koopa shells can be launched using a projectile launcher, and in the largest set, 72036, you can even collect a Chain Chomp – truly awesome~!
