BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced today that the latest product from the theatrical film "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!", the "Theatrical Version Sv-262Hs Draken III (Bogue Con-Vaart Custom)", will be released in February 2025, as part of their transforming alloy toy series, "DX Chogokin".
The Sv-262H Draken III was the main variable fighter utilized by the Windermere Kingdom Army during the Second Windermere Independence War. It features a unique transformation mechanism, distinct from the VF system, which concentrates the aircraft's thrust at a single point, resulting in superior ascent, maneuverability, and acceleration compared to contemporary VF models. However, due to limited fuel capacity and weaker endurance, it relies on the unmanned support fighter "LD-262 Lil Draken," which also functions as a fuel tank and booster, to mitigate these shortcomings.
The "DX Chogokin Theatrical Version Sv-262Hs Draken III (Bogue Con-Vaart Custom)" commercializes the specifications used by Bogue after he was granted the title of 'Red Knight' in the theatrical film "Absolute LIVE!!!!!!". The entire machine features a vermilion base color adorned with magnificent gold body patterns and markings, showcasing his status as the ace pilot of the Windermere Kingdom Army. A new pilot figure of Bogue Con-Vaart is also included.
The specifications of this machine are essentially the same as the previously released "White Knight" Keith Aero Windermere Custom. The fuselage features an alloy movable frame to reproduce the Draken III's unique transformation system, allowing it to transform into FIGHTER, GERWALK, and BATTROID modes without part swapping. Locking mechanisms in various sections enhance the structural integrity in each mode.
