Good Smile Company today (23rd) announced its latest product from the popular anime "Oshi no Ko": the "Akane Kurokawa Date Style Ver." 1/6 scale pre-painted PVC figure! It is scheduled for release in July 2025, with a suggested retail price of 17,600 JPY.
Akane Kurokawa, one of the popular female characters in "Oshi no Ko," met Aqua in the reality dating show "Love Now." After successfully pairing up on the show, the two naturally became a couple based on a business relationship. However, Akane Kurokawa harbors strong affection and curiosity for Aqua, secretly hoping their relationship will last. As an actress, the prodigious Akane Kurokawa excels at analyzing vast amounts of character information, unearthing details and personalities that closely match her roles from various sources, and thoroughly immersing herself in the characters. In reality, Akane Kurokawa is also a meticulous, observant, and somewhat detective-like individual (laughs).
This figure stands approximately 27 cm tall, bringing to life Akane Kurokawa's captivating appearance in an off-white sleeveless knit top and a lotus-root colored suspender skirt, complemented by black high heels and a black shoulder bag. While her attire and figure exude an "onee-san" (mature woman) charm, her head sculpt still captures a slightly bashful expression. Coupled with the gesture of her right hand tucking her hair behind her ear, it truly embodies Akane's unique shy demeanor! Her blue hair features a beautiful gradient at the ends, and intricate details are sculpted into the fabric folds and the mesh pattern of her knit top. The base is designed to resemble a red brick road. Overall, this date style is undeniably charming.
