Premium Collectibles Studio (PCS), an American-style sculpting brand renowned for showcasing character charm with large-scale statues, recently announced its latest product from "Army of Darkness": the "Ash" 1/4 scale full body statue! Both a regular edition and an exclusive edition (Silver Ex) will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping start in Q2 2025. The regular edition is priced at US$697.50, and the exclusive edition at US$1,035.
"Army of Darkness" is a sequel to the 1987 film "Evil Dead," continuing the story from the end of "Evil Dead" where Ash is sucked into a time vortex and transported to a medieval world. Due to his involvement in the war between Lord Arthur and Henry The Red, Ash is mistaken for a defeated member of Henry's side and captured by Lord Arthur. Originally destined to be thrown into a pit as monster fodder, Ash uses the chainsaw returned to him by a wise man to slaughter the Deadites, thus being hailed by the people as the "legendary savior." However, Ash only wants to return to his own world. He follows the wise man's words to search for the Necronomicon, inadvertently leading to the birth of a terrifying enemy...
Compared to 1981's "The Evil Dead" and 1987's "Evil Dead II," 1992's "Army of Darkness" features a much grander scale. In addition to incorporating elements like a medieval setting, castle architecture, and epic battles, it also includes many absurdly humorous comedic segments within its horror film tone. The battles between Ash and the Deadites become even more intense and exaggerated, even introducing interesting characters like Two-Headed Ash and Evil Ash.

This Ash statue is designed based on the "Army of Darkness" movie poster, standing at an impressive 53 cm, showcasing his confident and cool pose atop the wreckage of an old car, chest bared, ready to slay the Deadites. The tattered shirt, realistically wrinkled jeans, his signature chainsaw on his right hand, and the leather-textured holster are all meticulously sculpted! You can also spot a Deadite Scout at the base, along with a super mini Ash holding a fork and matches, ready to inflict harm on Ash – full of intricate details.
The simultaneously released exclusive edition (Silver Ex) will additionally include a full body statue of Sheila, portrayed by Embeth Davidtz, as well as interchangeable left and right hand parts! These include a left hand holding a shotgun and a right hand wearing medieval silver armor, which not only further recreates the movie poster but also greatly enhances the versatility of this Ash figure – absolutely fantastic.
