Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO recently announced a rich lineup of products scheduled for release in January 2025. This article will provide information on the "Ultraman Mother" (ウルトラの母) figure.
Ultraman Mother is set as the captain of the "Silver Cross Army," which conducts medical activities in space for the Land of Light. She is the true biological mother of Ultraman Taro. Not only can she unleash powerful healing rays, but Ultraman Mother, whose heart is full of love, also possesses a special power that can make even ferocious aliens docile. She first appeared in the first episode of "Ultraman Taro," where her human form on Earth was a woman known as "Midori no Obasan (Crossing Guard Auntie)." She was also the first female Ultraman to appear in the series.
This time, Ultraman Mother, sculpted in a sitting pose, meticulously recreates her "Mother's Red," which resembles a red hairpin, her unique silver braids, the blue bracelet on her left arm, "Mother's Blue," which serves as proof of the Silver Cross Army, and the style of her costume. The body lines and wrinkle sculpting are extremely delicate, and it also echoes Ultraman Mother's gentle and loving character setting, creating an appearance with her hands crossed over her chest, exuding an aura of profound maternal care.
